Opening today and ongoing through the 10th is VOLTA NY.  This fair is a great destination if you are going to be traveling around checking out the fairs this week.  VOLTA NY is structured differently from most fairs inviting galleries to host solo shows of an artist of their choice.  Most fairs can become a bit overwhelming with the amount of artists that are brought by each gallery but VOLTA is a breath of fresh air for it becomes a more mediated and tailored experience for visitors.  We highly recommend you to visit this fair if you’re in NYC.  SFAQ is an official media sponsor for VOLTA NY and will have copies of our current issue available for pickup at the fair.  Our Editor in Chief, Andrew McClintock, will be covering the fairs from NY so stay posted on our website to see some of his highlights.
