March 2-5, Independent presents its eighth annual edition, now located at Spring Studios in Tribeca for the second year. Independent challenges the structure of a traditional art fair, offering exhibitors new opportunities to display work and providing visitors new viewing experiences. Independent has a rotating participant network of over 200 galleries from over 20 countries. This year’s exhibitors include Gavin Brown’s enterprise (New York/Rome), Bureau (New York), François Ghebaly (Los Angeles), Anton Kern (New York), Lehmann Maupin (New York/Hong Kong), Tanya Leighton (Berlin), Galerie Perrotin (Paris/New York), Maureen Paley (London), and many more.
