Friday, April 15, Park Life Gallery opens Mark Likes Baseball Part 1, an exhibition of new work by New York based artist Mark Mulroney presented in collaboration with Ever Gold [Projects]. The first in a series of exhibitions by Mulroney about the history of baseball, its social impact on American culture, and the aesthetics of its promotional materials, Mark Likes Baseball Part 1 includes paintings, collages, wood-carvings, interactive sculptures, and homemade baseball cards. Alongside the works are brief texts by Mulroney identifying the characters portrayed and detailing their personal histories and achievements. Mark Likes Baseball Part 1 is the first exhibition for Park Life Gallery at their new 220 Clement Street location.
