Frieze New York opens this Friday, May 9th on Randall’s Island, and continues through May 12th. Frieze New York, launched in 2012, has become one of the world’s most influential contemporary art fairs. Visitors can expect to see work from close to 200 galleries, as well as a number of special projects, lectures, and events. Frieze Projects is a program of artists’ commissions that accompanies the fair, and this year features Darren Bader, Eduardo Basualdo, Eva Kotátková, Marie Lorenz, Koki Tanaka and Naama Tsabar.
