Opening Thursday, February 6th and continuing through February 9th is Material Art Fair, Mexico City’s new contemporary art fair dedicated to emerging practices at the Hilton Mexico City Reforma, a five-star hotel in Mexico City’s Centro Histórico. The fair will feature 40 national and international exhibitors, all of which have been selected because of the quality of their proposals as well as their general commitment to adventurous programming and support for young artists. Material Art Fair is an initiative of Daniela Elbahara and Brett W. Schultz, co-directors of Mexico City’s Yautepec Gallery, and Isa Natalia Castilla, founder of Incontemporary.
