Beginning Monday, January 13th and continuing through February 1st, artist Christine Sun Kim and her collaborators will take up residence at Southern Exposure, San Francisco to produce a process-oriented project based in conversation, workshopping and a final performance. Deaf since birth, Christine creates work based on her relationship to sound and language. Using breath as a physical limitation and wind as a misconception, Christine invites the public to watch her conversations with collaborators as the project develops into fabricated objects and performances over the course of the residency.
