“Oh! Sandy: A Remembrance”

As a collective commemoration of Superstorm Sandy’s one-year anniversary, 20 poets including Charles Bernstein, Anselm Berrigan, LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs, Tonya Foster, Nada Gordon, Bob Holman, Erica Hunt, Paolo Javier, Piere Joris, Vincent Katz, Erica Kaufman, Rachel Levitsky, Tan Lin, Tracie D. Morris, Bob Perelman, Anne Waldman, Elizabeth Willis, and Matvei Yankelevich were commissioned to write a poem about their direct or indirect experience of Sandy’s destruction. A free, public reading will take place this Sunday, November 10, on the second floor of the exhibition. A complete collection of the poems will be published by Rail Editions in January 2014.
