PREVIEW PARTY

With Vin Sol and King Most
Thursday, May 17, 7:30-Midnight

$12 Advance, $15 At the Door

Be the first to get down with Phantoms. Phantoms of Asia that is. It’s the Asian Art Museum’s bold new contemporary art exhibition that explores spirits, spirituality, the cosmos, and the afterlife. Provocative artworks big and small from all over Asia–and some created on site for this exhibition–will fill the entire museum to reveal unique perspectives on life, death, the universe, nature, and everything in between.

On the night before it opens officially to the public, we’re gonna dim the lights and show you a good time. Renowned party music purveyor VIN SOLwill bring his trademark hedonistic dance beats, while KING MOST fills the courts with his soul, R&B, hip-hop, 80s, and other feel-good grooves.

Sip refreshing suds courtesy of Kirin, award-winning tequila courtesy of Mi Casa, smooth shochu courtesy of Haamonii, and nibble on yummy bites courtesy of Sinto Gourmet and Polkadotties. All that gallery hopping and revelry got you feeling hunger pangs? Stop in our cafe-open late just for you-for substantial refueling. Mix and mingle with artists whose works are in the show, and above all, take in some amazing art. This is an exciting celebration for an exciting exhibition, so let’s make it special.
