Opening Saturday, January 11th at LVL3, Chicago is “Codification,” a two-person exhibition by Chicago-based Alex Chitty and Denver-based Zach Reini. “Codification” brings together two artists who deal with similar methods of construction while presenting varying forms of medium. Chitty works to push the limits of the traditional picture—often alluding to new systems of ubiquitous perception. Reini focuses on the “negative-reflection” of over-saturated and processed information within everyday life. Codification pulls the systematic methods of these two artists’ approaches into an arrangement of essential variables.

Opening Reception: January 11th, 2014. 6pm.

“Codification” will be on view through February 9th, 2014.
