Opening on Saturday, October 12 at LVL3 Gallery in Chicago is group exhibition, “Bite of time, fading memory”. Bite of time, fading memory is a three-person group show bringing together artists Austin Lee, Sabina Ott, and Evan Robarts. Lee’s paintings bring together varying emotions onto a surface of brightly attractive colors while inspiring new wandering thoughts. Ott summons functional objects to interplay with her vast material choices, redefining its purpose. Robarts’ ongoing scavenging for materials leads to new, repurposed ephemera and investigative mark making. Bite of time, fading memory focuses on the transformative effect of these three artists’ interpretations of feeling, form, and material.
