Confessions of a Poor Collector: How to build a worthwhile art collection with the least possible money by Eugene M. Schwartz.

I just came across this awesome looking book that I just purchased from a great independent magazine / zine / fanzine distribution company and store Motto Distribution, based out of Zurich.

It’s a reprinting of a booklet written in 1970 by Eugene M. Schwartz (1927–1995); the original followed a lecture that he delivered at the New York Cultural Center. He proposes some easy instructions on how to build a worth while art collection and spend the least possible money for it.
